Kathy is a mother to 4, nearly an empty nester, and her draw into birth work evolved after going through difficult, unsupported, and fear driven labors without knowing she had options or the power to take control of her births. She deeply desires to empower and educate women, and help them find that birth can be a beautiful experience whether it is in a hospital, birth center or at home. She is committed to holding mothers and their partners in a safe and sacred space of constant support and without fear of judgement. She knows how life transforming birth is and is privileged to walk alongside each family during the unfolding of their own unique journey.
Support, encouragement, and knowledge are the pillars by which she focuses her care. Kathy is empathetic, gentle, warm, nurturing, and fun-loving! She brings an awareness and tenderness for spiritual, physical, and emotional care during this precious time. Kathy believes these are not luxuries, but necessities that all women both need and are worthy of.
